Why is it so fascinating to see men in red-patterned uniform? I like Drum and Bugle Corps for this reason. They're just so nice to look at.

No worries Gattina! I love these photos, no matter. And my hubby would REALLY enjoy them, 'cause they're about Napoleon! That is one of his favorite reading subjects. Him and his wife, Josephine.

Gattina...thanks for dropping by my Friday Feast. I just wanted to tell you that Johnny Depp is not feminine in no way but in the Pirate movies that is just his part!! That is the way he is supposed to be...that is what makes him funny in his role as Jack Sparrow!! If you have ever seen him in any other roles where he plays a more serious role then you will see a much different character then. I think he is such fun to watch as Jack. My photo hunt is up. Have a wonderful weekend. sandy..PS..Our cat Simon is doing fine as long as I ignore him...Annie is a sweetie!!

Looks like great day. My parents and brother occasionally participate in Civil War reenactments, it's very neat to see History come "alive" again!

They are five pictures of the celebration... so that is ok... besides those Scottish kilts and knobby knees and the wondering about what is under them makes one forget everything else!
