Frank Borman was the first man walking a few steps on the moon on 20 July 1969, with Apollo 11. He visited Brussels in 1970 and stayed at the Hilton where my husband worked, and he gave him an autograph, on a menu card which of course has paled with the time.

An old family bible from my father's side dated from 1830, which shows that time has left traces.

The first leather shoe of our son, size 21 which I had casted in bronze as it was (and maybe still is) the use here in Belgium. Now by the time his feet grew and reached size 48 !

This lemmon is exactly 37 years old and was one of the table decorations at our wedding. With the time of course it has shrinked and dried out.

Great post and interpretation for this time theme Gattina! I love the lemon, bible, cat collection and astronauts (what's not to love there!). I have a bunch of autographs from Canadian astronauts. My favourite is Chris Hadfield. I had an interesting personal exchange with him once. Thanks for jogging my memory - I'll have to blog about it on Monday Memories now!

Have a great rest of your weekend! Look after those tutties!!

Wonderful pictures for the theme! :) Very cool astronaut autograph, and your cat figurine collection is great. :)

I have one of my first baby shoes bronzed somewhere - my parents might still have it!

Our new kitten is just napping right now. He was a little upset for the first hour - lots of meowing and hiding under things, but since then he's played a bit with us, and let us pet him. Thanks for the offer to answer any questions. If I have any, I'll ask! Take care. :)
