INDIAN DANCES

When we celebrated a friends retirement party, after supper we watched this show. It's a pitty that you can't listen to the music, which is quite unusual to our western ears.

The danse represented a young man who courted a girl.

The pictures speak of themselves

After the Indian danses, a girl group showed us danses from the still french Island "Iles Maurice"

I enjoy Indian dancing. The music is unusual and can sound quite discordant to our ears. However, once you get used to it, it's actually quite beautiful.

I have just read a wonderful book by an Indian author, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, called "Sister of my Heart". Today at the library I picked up the sequel, "The Vine of Desire".

It sounds as if you had a lovely evening and how nice to meet up with a classmate of your son's!

Take care and have a great week.

I love any kind of dance. Looks like it was very entertaining. Very pretty clothing...such vivid colors.

You just look beautiful. Glad you met up with a friend.

Take care.
Hugs,
Connie
