Any day without cars/traffic has to be a good day! Great shots as always, Gattina! Hope you have a fun week!

wow! great idea to have a day sans cars!

I like the red painted underside of the overpass. Looks so much nicer than what we have here.

Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Do they make it a rule no cars on that Sunday and how often does it happen? What a cool thing to do. I love the red especially that bridge. Besides the Golden Gate Bridge I've never seen one that isn't just steel colored :)

I love no-car days. In Tokyo they do that in Ginza every Sunday.

A fabulous day, because I imagine the centre city very quite and peaceful in this way!
I imagine you was using your bike as well? :)

Your Belgian rubies are so nice. I was in Brussels only once on a two hour layover on the way to Lisbon. It looked like a great city to explore. I hope to be able to do so one day.

Even without cars,
we can get from here to there,
using bikes instead.

You mean no cars on a sunday? Years ago, there were car less days in Auckland. Car with registration with odd number had to stay at home on certain days, and cars with even numbers on other days.

It won't work for me, because my husband works on the opposite direction as me.

What a great idea. What about emergency vehicles?

We have a few bikers in my town, but mostly because they have had their driver's license taken away due to driving under the influence. ;(

What a wonderful idea! Loved your post!
