More participants here at
Skywatch Friday

On wednesday we had a quiet heavy thunderstorm, roofs flew off, trees fell down, and Brussels in seconds was under water until people's knees ! Fortunately we are living on a hill and besides a strong wind, hail and water there were no damages in our street at least.

Good heavens! Such a storm it must have been to leave that much water lying about. I have had my roof blown off during a rain storm and it is most unpleasant. The smell of moist carpet lingers for weeks.

The same storm raged over our country with the same result as in Brussels.

Wonderful shots! I love the look of the houses there.
You were right about our beach shots being very much alike. I think maybe the sand is whiter in Alabama.
Thanks for your visit!!

Very dramatic skies!
I worry when there are high winds because of all the trees around us. We've had strong winds too and it's still very blowy today.

The typhoon didn't pass by there, did it? Last Wednesday morning we had a strong typhoon which blew and toss some roofs in thin air. Gosh it was so scary!

But it's still nice to see you're okay and I like your third photo.
