Your shot of the flower carpet blew me away. I had to go do a web search and read about it. Amazing the amount of work for such a short duration. Even more mind boggling is the fact that it is just the flower petals with no dirt to keep them fresh.
And to think this takes place in your own back yard ---so to speak.
Goodness, every time I view your wonderful photos, I want to leave my humdrum life and hop on a plane for Belgium. It is magnificent! You do a wonderful job of photographing it. So very lovely!
Oh Wow , I have never seen this flower carpet, just fabulous. And the birds on the balcony also beautiful. Great pictures Gattina. Brusels is still on my wishlist to visit this summer.
This flower carpet is so wonderful that we wouldn't dare to walk on it. What colours ! I never seen such a beautiful creation, what a good idea. The decorated balcony is not bad either ! At the first sight, I thought they were real, and were migratory birds. Well done.
Wow! I can't imagine a carpet that big and colorful. I didn't know you could go up in the Atomium. My family took a picture of it on our trip to Europe in 1972, but it was at a distance. I love the first shot you took from the top of it. But I think my favorite shots here are the balcony and the abbey ceiling. Nice!

Wow, Gattina! You photos are grand! I like the first photo where they had to put up sculptures of birds - they don't have enough pigeons? Ha! :)
These are all such beautiful shots Gattina. Makes me want to see them in person...
Love all of these! I remember visiting the Grand Palace so many years ago...and, I remember that amazing flower carpet way back then. That is amazing!

These are just beautiful photos. Did you have to watch out for falling poop on the first one? LOL
