You cat on the red chair makes me thing of this real story.
The Sarawak cats were working cats. They are the best mousers and in the 90s, Middle East countries imported cats from Sarawak because their own cats have lost their instinct to catch mice.
That's not the story I am thinking. We always had cats, they were not pets as such, that we didn't cuddle them. We fed them once at lunch. At night, they had to feign for themselves. Because of this, they very very very good mousers.
Here's the story, my pre teen brother, he didn't want to make his bed. It was too hot anyway in Sarawak to have covers on to sleep.
He dumped all his bedspread in his ward robe.It was red in colour.
Somehow I didn't know how mum found out, but she did. The cats had kittens on the bed spread.
What a terrific shots, Gattina! I know it's cold and gray, but you did make the most of it -- perfect backdrop for the branches. Wish I could send you some of our sunshine!! Have a great weekend!
