I saw this tree in the garden of our Hotel in Egypt. I don't know what it is, but what is growing on its trunk is so strange !

Has anybody seen such a tree ?

Yes! I posted about a relative of this tree which Jientje and I saw here in Hawaii! It is from the flora family espina. I do not know what name this particular variety goes by.

Bizarre looking - almost looks like seashells or mushrooms stuck to the trunk at first glance. Nice photos!

No trees like this one in my yard! I'd sure hate to hug this tree. Ouch!

Very strange tree Gattina, never seen or heard of it before.

How very strange - but strangely beautiful, too. Love the last shot. That's quite something!

Very cool tree - I like your last shot especially. That is one tree that you probably wouldn't want to mess with!
