Watch grass grow

If something is like watching grass grow, it is really boring.

You are what you eat

The notion that to be fit and healthy you need to eat good food.
(that's why she didn't eat the mouse but the dry food)

Sorry I have to learn the alphabet again, I should have posted X and not Y

LOL!!! They're great! I love that last one, it's just perfect for the idiom! Well, they both are actually!
Your cats are great models, and you have a perfect eye for the right pîcture with the right idiom! Very well done!

Lovely quirky photos of your cats. But I don't think the white one is watching grass grow. I think he's auditioning for modelling sweaters - you know how the models always look off into the distance at an angle?!

Is there a dead mouse in that cat bowl? And why did you write X, then do Y? (I love them both, mind you. I'm just curious.)

As always, Gattina, you've done a great job. Amazing how you always manage to work the cats into the photos and still demonstrate the idioms. You skipped right over X and went to Y. What will you do next week when it's Y & Z? LOL.

So clever. We always say watching cricket is like watching grass grow.

Very good illustrations of both! LOL about forgetting X. There aren't too many for X. You probably could use x-ray since that probably started out as an idiom -- I don't know what the x in x-ray stands for.

Gattina, I love how you always manage to use a cat in your photos! From one cat lady to another, I think you get the best shots of all of us!
