Hey Gattina, great photo! I love photos of old ruins, the column and the arched windows and ivy are just beautiful!

I like the brick background you have going on in your blog very nice!

Beautiful structure. I love how the wall plants are crawling all over the walls :)

Came looking for Ruby Tuesday, but glad of the diversion. Beautiful photo... as Carletta said - there's something kind of romantic (to me) about ruins.

Love that shadow line across the ruins of the abbey! Quite a mystical pic!

This Abbey is gorgeous. There is a church in Antigua, Guatemala that has only two sides left standing. It looks very similar to this and a park surrounds it -- or it surrounds the park -- whichever -- it is gorgeous.

Old ruins are fascinating to walk around and photograph! You took this photo from a nice angle. I think I see a blush of red at the back of the photo. ;-) Happy Ruby Tuesday!

I like this photo of ruins..I can just imagine the history behind this place.

The shadow makes it intriguing.

And what makes it more intriguing is that is our last name - Villers!

The stone work is fantastic. I like in the facade of such a building, the stonemasons didn't have the luxury of modern construction methods, yet could build an edifice that lasts for centuries. It is interesting that the rest of the building has fallen apart...except the stones!

We don't see things that old in North America...

Gattina, that was me on the previous post! But Patti and I agree that this is a great photo of a special place!

Hello!

Hey, no, the Hunt is not on Friday - it's still on Saturday. Apparently I made an error when I drafted the post to auto publish. It was a mistake on my part this week.

Well, Gattina, I guess you had to use a Road to get here and take that great picture. Tricky light.
