I just came back from a one week roundtrip through Greece and had stayed 2 days in Athenes.
While visiting the city, I saw a lot of homeless dogs especially around the Acropolis. But they apparently were not unhappy at all. They were petted and fed by the tourists and guardians and were quite fat !
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
They lived there in packs, were sleeping on the warm stones and had a beautiful view all over Athens, but I think they didn't care. They were really very friendly

Wow, they all looked pretty happy!
Muguet
How wonderful! They look like pets.
What a wonderful trip you must have had - hope we see much more.

Very hapy looking dogs.
pretty dog...
Will you visit mine Thanks
nice shots
Hope you visit mine too Thanks
Well, I guess they know a good deal when they found one! Free to roam... and well fed too! What more could you ask for? (well... MY puppy asks for a nice warm couch in a dry house!)
They are beautiful dogs, but it still makes me sad that they don't have homes.
I bet your trip was amazing!
Happy fur!!
Oh gosh they are cute and i love that last photo
Sounds like a fun trip you had
They look healthy and well cared for. I wonder who does that? We have feral cats all over Hawaii. Their lives are not so nice.
Still - every doggy deserves a home (in my opinion). Makes me wanna go bring them all home with me ;-)
I love that last pic!
I saw in another post of yours the same comments about the stray cats there. Finally a nation that is caring and compassionate? It is a wonderful thing to see.
Bless their hearts. They seem so friendly. Sad to never be able to love on the same person though. The last shot, he looks so fun and playful!
It's nice to know that those dogs are treated well.
