I took this picture standing under the Atomium in Brussels. The Atomium is a monument built for Expo '58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. It is 102-metre (335-feet) tall, with nine steel spheres connected. The top sphere provides a panoramic view of Brussels. Each sphere is 18 metres in diameter. The vertical vertex contains lift which has been very fast and advanced at the time of building (the speed is 5 m/s).

The crane here below is very high. It is used for the construction of a new mall in Brussels, by keeping the wall of an old department store.

This is one of the shopping galeries in Brussels, with a very high ceiling

and here is our weeping willow covered with ice. It stands in our garden and has become very high in 32 years. When we moved in our house it looked like a little twig.

This week's word is "Spring". There are several interpretations

Little kitten Rosie learned to spring from the bed

and cat Arthur wondered if he could spring from the tree

Our neighbor has this gorgious magnolia blooming in spring

He springs around to get his parachute started

and this also is SPRING !

Photo Hunt theme this week is : "I spy (take a photo of something hidden for us to find)"
This is a very difficult theme for me because I never spy and I am very not curious at all !

Guess what this is ? It is my cat Lisa's fur and hidden inside (I hope not) is

A flea !

Guess what is hidden in this big parcel which arrived from Vietnam ?

a Buddah !

This picture I took in the Zoo of Antwerp (Belgium) and asked myself : "But what is hidden in this cage ?"

This strange animal, I forgot its name. It looks like a mixture between a donkey and a zebra.

Cat Arthur likes to sit on the sofa and watch TV. The only things which are missing is a bottle of beer and some chips.

I don't know if this is a nice place to sit, but apparently Arthur likes it.

But he also likes to sit on my place and warms it up for me

Rosie sits in my armchair, she likes it it is comfy and can even turn around

The weeping willow we have in our garden looks certainly different in

and winter when it was covered with ice

My little cat Rosie looked different when she was

6 weeks old

and now with 10 months.

Our guest room looks always neat before a visit of my son

and completely different when he is there !

This theme was really difficult for me! I am not going very often to a party anymore, as I did in the past. Now it's more going out in a restaurant or having a funeral reception. But finally I managed to gather some party pictures :

A Cocktail party with my painting group last October

Rosie and Arthur giving a tea party

A little part of the buffet

and a show at the New Year Party in Egypt
