TACKLE IT TUESDAY !

Since a few weeks, my cat Arthur is hiding in my wardrobe and only comes out when he is hungry or has to go for his little business. So I had to wash the bedsheets and range the wardrobe a little. Now I have put a towel, so it is easier to wash. Poor Arthur had disappeared for 4 days and apparently suffers from a shock.

I have also started a new painting, but it still needs some lays of color and is far from being finished ! It represents an Egyptian godess.

    ROUND ROBINS

I don't have "macro settings" on my camera (as John Darrow suggested to use) and I don't know either how to make my photos 200 x 200 pixels.

I don't have photoshop or other photo programs, and even if I had one I don't know how to use it. I am an innocent leisure photographer who only has ideas and an automatic camera.

I really made an effort to find something which would fit to the requested quite difficult word interpretation. And here is what I found for "Macro".

Explications of the word "MACRO" and there are a lot of samples which are impossible to photograph.

    John Darrow said :

"Ideally, your subject is nicely in focus sandwiched between the fore and background objects that are not in focus".

So I took a picture of my cat Lisa's fur. It is the foreground.
Unfortunately you can't see the flees which are the object of the background, because they are hidden in the hairs.

There were quite some tuckles to do this week.

I had to add some soil to this plant, as every year in this time it looses a lot of leaves. Pookie with hopful eyes expects the next leaves to fall !

I spent a lot of time with my pictures which I had all to sort out and file.

Amusing myself with templates ! I try to get my header changed, without success so far. To be true I don't know how to do it.

There are a lot of meanings in the word drop. For example here you have a drops for your nose when you have a cold.

    or a drop of temperature

    ALWAYS FOR TUESDAY TACKLES

My holidays really ended this week and I had quite a lot to do with catching up on my computer work, emails to be answered, photos to be filed etc. etc. of course with the eager helping Pookie, as you can see.

I don't know what our cats had done during our absence, but all cables hang out of the basket in which I had put them and covered with a little towel, because of the dust. Apparently they worked and had fun under my desk. Or they slept on the cables as you can see here with cat Arthur ! So I had to range the cable salad.

I also started with my painting group and finished a painting.

Then I had to look for inspiration for a new painting this time with a theme "ethnic". Instead of taking a native american with feathers or an old Roman, I choose this egyptian godess because of my holidays in Egypt and because I always paint cats !

The latest task was fun, I put away my little souvenirs I bought for myself (except the silver cross). 6 little porcelan saucers with Egyptian hyroglyphes, a glass ball with an Egyptian cat and crystals around and wonderful papyrus bookmarks with pharaons.
